I always reach for these when craving a crunchy, light snack! Sweetness is subtle which I find satisfies my taste. They go especially well with nut butter and cut fruit on top, but I also enjoy them on their own.
I never expected to try a Quaker product without any oats! I would have preferred a savory flavor, but this was the only one I could find that was dairy-free. Maybe that was actually a good thing from a health standpoint, as the sweetness stopped me from indulging in a second bag. The discs are made of popped rice and corn, which provide a satisfying crunch. I enjoyed the cinnamon but found the apple flavor a bit artificial and grew tired of it quickly. I didn’t love the sweetener situation, either — it lists both sugar and stevia among its ingredients. These rice crisps aren’t bad for a light snack, but I don’t think I’ll be reaching for them again in a hurry.
Wow, these were surprisingly delicious! #uplandspeak
