It's got a slight flavour which I don't like. And it also doesn't really get crispy when fried. And if you do get it to cook a bit of crispy texture, that disappears when you add any sauce you may be using. I don't like that I have to defrost the whole bag and use it shortly thereafter. I prefer brands where you can break off a few chunks and leave the rest in the box. Nothing has compared to the original woollies protein strips for me. So my quest continues, but in the meantime unless I find more of my second favourite, the Like meat brand, this will have to do. I did a little Nandos style wrap and it was okay.

I love this. It is versatile in many dishes like a stew, curry, in a toastie, on a baked potato and not strong in flavor which I like.
Previously tried this brands pulled pork and wasn’t a fan of the rubbery texture of it. The pulled chicken was the same so I added some jackfruit to it and made a homemade bbq sauce.
This pulled chicken doesn't disappoint. Very well flavoured and pulled beautifully. A tad bit pricey but well worth the money. Definatley going to be a staple in my kitchen
