BEST QUALITY NO SUGARS ORGANIC SOY MILK 👍👍👍🥛 Taste/bite: Neutral, no aftertastes. Ingredients: Organic. Only hulled European organic soy beans (almost 10 %) and water. This results in a protein content of 3,7 g per 100 g💪💪💪, which is to be considered high in comparison to lower quality soy protein milks (like non-organic Alpro). The protein content of soy milks is really the indicator for the amount of beans used in the process, so really look out for the high ones. Don’t get fooled by buying basically a cardboard box with water and only a hint of soy, thinking you just had a bargain. This soy milk is not fortified, so nothing added: no B12, no added calcium, no sugar. They have a calcium enriched version which I will review separately. The absence of sugars is a huge positive point too. 👌It makes this soy milk apt to be used for home yoghurt making.👍 Shape/Conditioning: A one litre brick pack with slanted top side. The simple, bland white packaging boasts a lot of environmental benefits and total transparency. 88% of the packaging is made out of renewable ressources, with certified cane sugar as one of the sources. QR-codes allow to discover the whole production process of the milk. Price: I paid 2,29 € (January 2023), for a total volume of 1000 ml. Certainly more expensive than other soy milks, but totally justified. This is, for me, the second best option after making soy milk at home starting from white/yellow organic soy beans.👌👌👌 The brand is originally Belgian 🇧🇪, pioneers in soy products since 1983. it’s part of the Alpro and thus Danone Group. It is what it is.
