Uh oh. I’d avoided all things like this until now thinking I didn’t like them. All UK 🇬🇧style flapjacks I’d tried had been dry and pointless. This was moist and delicious 😋though with both chocolate 🍫and vanilla 🍦notes, the #sweettooth approves! Yuka also approves so it’s good news all around and they are a #bcorp so ethically 😇producing their goods. Except it does contain palm 🌴oil sadly. The 🍋lemon blueberry🫐 ones were awesome as well. Is this a #proteinbar in disguise? 🤔 I didn't realise it was at the time of purchase, but that would explain a lot! The unconvincing taste, this sense that neither #cocoa nor #vanilla tells the whole story of why an #oatbar has such a texture 😐 I was in aggressive #forthedollar #justbecauseitsvegan mode and bought two products from this range. Eek 😬 #buyersremorse
I like that the product is gluten free and that the palm oil it does contain is at least said to be sustainably sourced. The texture is nice and oaty, flavour is quite richly cocoa. Does taste "healthy" 🤷♀️
Stickier than I expected but tastes nice! Not a ton of protein (under 5 g) despite the packaging. Good for a lunchbox dessert or with a coffee. 💜 #snack #chocolate #protein
Chocolatey, ricey, crunchy, grainy. Reminds me of those chocolate rice crispy cakes you make at school lol. But I suppose this one it more healthy since of the more protein. Nice bar to have to boosts of energy. :) 26/7/22 09:25
