A great choice for your vegan protein shakes. It comes in original, chocolate, coffee &

peanut butter. Available through their website or on Faithful to Nature (they have a sale atm!). I'm not an expert in protein powder so I'm not sure where this ranks in terms of value for money. But it's super easy, tasty, has sustainable packaging and the owners are friendly and knowledgeable (the girl studied with me - has her PhD in food science).

I really wasn't expecting much from a protein blend (I even tried to palm it

off onto my mother who sometimes has smoothies in the morning), but yesterday I bit the bullet* and tried this and it was really very nice. It came with the Vegan Box (@prettydeliciousthings on IG), and I had left it until yesterday (yes, that's how much I dislike protein drinks as an alternative to fuller breakfasts). The coffee flavour is very subtle (actually like an undercurrent flavour), so not overpowering. I added more water (it can be made with either mylks or water - huge bonus) than it stipulated and it was still thick and delicious . I added it to under 100gms blueberries šŸ« (I shared some with my pooches), a banana (not frozen), and 600ml water (they suggest only 200ml but I knew the more liquid the less hungry I'd be half an hour later). The ingredients are all natural with natural sweeteners like erythritol and steviol, and no full on sugars from starch so I also had a slice of toast afterwards. 14gms of (pea) protein made this also under a protein serve for me so I could also look forward to a great lunch šŸ˜„ I haven't been able to find it on Takealot (my go-to online shop for delivery purposes), but The Organic Vegan sell 30gm packets (this size) for R32, and 500gms for R290 at time of posting (not bad at all!). They have other flavours , which include peanut butter, chocolate and their 'original'. I am tempted to try the peanut butter, but, I may order some more of the coffee flavour if I can find some other gems on the same website (delivery costs are an issue), or if I can find it nearer home. All in all, defo worth a try for anyone curious. Thumbs up for this one! So unexpected....lol
*I'm not into sweet breakfasts at the moment, much prefer toasted sarmie or Kimchi/cheeze chickpea 'omelette'
