I like to keep a jar of pizza sauce on hand for not only fast and easy pizza nights but for other dishes that don’t require a full pasta sized jar of sauce. I live with my partner at times and by myself at times (due to work) so it’s sometimes hard for me to go through a full jar of sauce fast enough and sometimes I don’t have time to or wish to make my own sauce. This is a pretty basic pizza sauce but that makes it versatile as you can add the seasonings you wish. It’s also tasty enough on its own. Simple and healthy. I’ve used this on pizza before and have been pleased, however I prefer the fresh pizza sauce from TJ or the Rao’s brand jarred sauce for a store-bought option. This time I used it in stuffed bell peppers. I combined the sauce with crumbled Beyond Hot Italian sausages, garlic, fresh herbs and Miyoko’s mozz and stuffed into red bell peppers. #traderjoes

We got some vegan pizza dough from TJ's and got this sauce to go with it. It was not bad, but it wasn't nearly as good as other sauces out there. It was quite acidic, and did not seem like good quality. Best to go with a homemade sauce or a better quality readymade sauce if you really care about having a good pizza.
