Coxinhas "Chicken Style" - Very crispy, and it really does taste like chicken.

Happy Easter y’all !! 💕🐰🐣🌱
This year’s going to be my (and my family’s) first vegan

Easter ever! So exciting!! 😋
Yesterday, we tried for dinner these Chicken Style “Coxinhas” with 0% meat, from Pingo Doce.
The “Coxinha” is a traditional Brazilian 🇧🇷 savoury snack (sort of like Croquettes) of São Paulo origin, also common in Portugal, made with dough of wheat flour and chicken broth, which involves a filling made with seasoned chicken meat, cheese, pepperoni or various other types of flavors.
My mom was really happy to find this Vegan Coxinhas, when shopping at Pingo Doce, because it’s something we really liked eating when we weren’t vegan. It turned out they were amazingly delicious 🤤 Even my 8 year old brother (who is a now almost a vegetarian 🥰), loved these and said it tasted pretty similar to the original chicken “Coxinhas” !!
So happy when they turn traditional dishes to vegan and make it as delicious or even more than the original :) 🌱 #veganisnotscary
These are quite affordable too, since they’re from Pingo Doce’s own supermarket brand.
They are frozen, so you can either fry them or bake at the oven, which was what we did (for a healthier version 💚), at 220° for 10-15min.
Nutritionally, they’re not very good 😅 but it’s a very tasty treat to give yourself, once in a while, because you deserve it, too 💗 #vegantreats
A perfect #snack for when you’re on the go, too. You can have it anywhere, it’s so practical for trips or a day spent at the beach ☀️

🇪🇸

The vegan version of the famous coxinhas (Brazilian dish). This vegan version is amazing. For

me, it tastes exactly like the ‘traditional’ version…probably even better, actually.
They’re already pre cooked, so you can just pop them in the oven or the air fryer, and they’re done. Cheap, easy to prepare and perfect to have when you don’t have time to cook. Really tasty.
