I find these pots of cubed #pineapple pieces pretty good! They are canned in their own #juice and ready to eat. The taste is nice. They have a good amount of flavour for a product like this. While it obviously can’t compete with fresh, it’s nicely #sweet with a little acidity. They aren’t mushy, but they are a little bit on the soft side according to my preferences. Still good but not perfect. It’s a very solid option, and convenient to have on hand when you only need a small amount of pineapple. It is #recyclable. The pineapple used is sustainable grown certified. Product of Kenya 🇰🇪 💵~49 NOK at Spar. Not the most affordable. I would repurchase! Like any other pineapple chunks in juice tin. Perhaps there’s a bit more juice than usual. Affordable.
It is too sweet for me. Wished it tasted more fresh and more sour. Nevertheless, both the pineapple chunks and the syrup is perfect to make a sweet and sour stir fry. Used it to make the recipe by Pick Up Limes (https://www.pickuplimes.com/recipe/sweet-and-sour-tofu-stir-fry-310)
Whenever you may want to get a bit sweet tasty in your food, smoothie etc. remember pineapple
