I bought this 680 gram (1.5 pounds) package of Whole Mini Bella

Mushrooms at Costco (I accompanied a friend there and decided to buy a few items). It was $5.99 which I think is a good deal. (I’m not convinced Costco offers as much value as many believe they do).

Anyways, the quantity looked enticing for the price. I don’t buy mushrooms that often, and I had never heard of mini bella mushrooms before. So I gave them a try. They’re quite large, meaty and absolutely delicious! If these are “mini”, I wonder how large these mushrooms actually get.

I just sliced about 1/3 of the mushrooms and cooked them in a pan with vegan margarine. I’ll put a few of the rest on a pizza, then cook the remaining mushrooms the same way in a pan.

One cup (156 grams) of these mushrooms provides 15%, 12% and 12% of your day’s required iron, potassium and fibre, respectively. They contain less than 1 gram of fat.

The mushrooms were grown in Canada (Dundas, Ontario to be exact). This is a big plus for me.

I think I’ll have to buy these mushrooms again.

Jesse and I got a Costco membership last week and did our first shop this

evening. Holy cow such quantitiy! Huge portions of things. It is just Jesse and I, so I'm not sure if this membership is for us lol

We got some cool things though! I got these #mushrooms.

They were only $5 and something cents. There are so many for this price!

I used these to make a #pasta for dinner with mushrooms, tofu, kale from my garden, brown rice pasta, chili oil, olives and homemade parm.

Hate the amount of plastic #deathbyplastic and so much plastic ar Costco! I didnt get a bunch of things due to the amount of plastic waste.
