Pesto alla Genovese

All I can say is that if I could eat this every day, I would 🤤

I prefer making fresh pesto rather than buying - but when in a hurry. This was ok, you can taste it’s ‘longlife’ - if that makes sense.

I preferred this to the pesto rosso. It's an okay store bought pesto, good for lazy days. No weird ingredients and not overly salted. I made it the traditional way: pasta with potatoes and French beans.

It's a rather small amount for the price of 2.99 euro , 135gr. Taste wise it is great, not too liquid or oily, but I'd like it even more if the cashew nuts were more finely ground. It seems a bit too chunky for my liking.

This is good pesto if you don't want to make it from scratch.
