Love this bean salad but I can see that it wouldn’t be for everyone. It
has a very strong sour vinegary taste but it’s perfect as a side!

On a recent outing to Costco, I bought 2
jars of Paisley Farm Four Bean Salad for $9.99. The two jars were held together with plastic rings, which I thought was totally unnecessary. The jars can be sold loosely without the wasteful plastic. But I’m certainly glad the jars were made from glass, not plastic.
The four beans that make up this salad are green and yellow beans, kidney beans and chickpeas. It’s a nice healthy mix that’s tied together with a bit of a strong vinegary flavour. I certainly did not mind the vinegar, but it could be a turn off to some.
Nutritionally, it’s fat-free (which it should be), and only a small amount (1/3 cup) gives you a decent amount of fibre and iron. It’s so easy to eat more than one serving in one sitting. I wish there was less salt and sugar, I admitted it does taste great.
I would definitely get this again.
