but doesn’t skimp on the flavor, with a rich blend of #organic produce and aromatics delivering good depth and broad utility. It is a bit high in sodium, though, so probably best to look for the reduced version in the future, whether you harbor health concerns or just want to cook with other ingredients which may themselves contain salt.
This broth was the base for the pozole that I made recently; it can also be used to start almost any #soup or as a simmering liquid for ultra-savory pasta or grains. Really, the only negative is the packaging: the recipe called for 6 cups of broth (1.5 cartons,) but I only bought one because I felt bad about the amount of waste. Although this was good and really convenient, I’m hoping to eventually move toward using more concentrated ingredients like vegetable bouillon, so I can’t say for certain whether I’d get this again.
for me is the amount of #sodium. 23% daily sodium in 10 calories? I would definitely go with a low-sodium option next time!
