#hilarys #veggieburger #vegan #veganisnotscary #nongmocertified #glutenfree #soyfree #cornfree #nutfree #eggfree #dairyfree #organic #highinfibre #highinmanganese #aduki I picked up a few different boxes of Hilary’s veggie burgers last year at Grocery Outlet for $1 each. The third to be reviewed is Hilary’s Organic Southwest Aduki Bean Veggie Burgers. I’ve seen these several times in the grocery store, but never bought them because they were ridiculously priced. But for $1, why not? There are 2 burgers in the box. This veggie burger is truly a veggie burger in that it’s made from real organic vegetables. There is no attempt to imitate meat in anyway (not in taste nor texture). The first two ingredients (millet and aduki beans) are visible in the patties and are quite evident in the taste. All the ingredients, except for sea salt, are organic. So naturally, these veggie burgers are high in fiber, manganese and niacin, and other nutrients too. The salt content is pretty reasonable. I would definitely get these burgers again and hopefully for the ultra low price I found at Grocery Outlet.
