I bought a sack of avocados at Costco last weekend so it's taco time this week in my house. This packet contains mostly dried pea protein and must be soaked in cool water for 3 minutes before cooking. I sauteed onion and some grape tomatoes before adding this taco meat and simmered it all for about 20 minutes, until the liquid was fully absorbed. I hate to say it, but I wasn't crazy about the flavor. It was a little too mild so I added quite a bit of salsa to my tacos to get the taste I craved. This product was easy to use and might be good for camping or some activity like that.
