I love Nona sauces! I just recently tried the carbonara sauce and made a low
carb /keto pasta dish using these konji-like noodles I found and wanted to try out. The noodles were a little spongey but good, I also made rice paper bacon and put it in the pasta, I also made sundried tomato bruschetta with the rice bacon 🥓 on it and drizzled the sauce on it too! The sauce is a little on the salty side.

Although this packaging is lighter, I prefer the reusable jar because it’s not disposable plastic.
This sauce changed my life. I’ve been fairly disappointed with the pre-made vegan sauce selection
in most grocery stores but this stuff is amazing! It’s cashew based so no good if you have a nut allergy, but the peppery and smokey flavour is well balanced with the creamy texture. This sauce goes perfectly on any pasta noodle, and is also a great vegan pizza dipping sauce :-) Yum!

This was one of the items Jesse got me for my bday! I was soooo
excited to try it because I love MY Nonna and I had never seen a vegan carbonara packaged sauce before. I did not enjoy it. I ended up giving it away because I disliked it so much. I spent a long time making homemade gnocchi and I felt like this sauce ruined my hard work. Would not recommend.
