time I tried a no-bacon product was in the early 00s, but nothing compares to this version! Smoky aroma, cooks soft to crispy depending on your preference and pictured here on a tomato and mayo sandwich. Got it from www.veganpoint.net, 29,50€ for 1kg. Not for everyday, but I did get 10 packets of 4 strips separating them out for future meals.

pero ojo, ¡resulta ser toda una sorpresa! Tanto en fresco como cocinado es una pasada, sobretodo cocinado con un poco de aceite.
El olor y el sabor están muy logrados. Lo he comido en bocadillo (frito) y en pasta a la carbonara (lo echas fresco con el resto de ingredientes mientras se cocinan), queda muy logrado. A mi perrita le gusta como huele 😉
Eso sí, a mí me da mucha sed.

Straight out the pack, it has a taste and texture very similar to shaved ham. Fried crispy in a dash of oil and pinch of salt, it has a taste and texture akin to bacon—without the lifetime of a beautiful and intelligent pig, of course. 🐖
First time trying this product, I enjoyed it on its own with a drizzle of maple syrup and was blown away!
Absolutely delicious and very impressed, only, on the pricier side (at $12.98) when compared to other mainstay brands currently on the market.
Would love to see them deliver this kind of quality at a slightly more competitor value.
