Really enjoyed this oat milk condensed milk. Got this at Dischem

🇺🇸
The stores were out of sweetened condensed coconut milk so I tried this. It tastes

great and has the same consistency as the coconut milk. Delicious!

Oh my days, I swear my life is complete 😌 Though these days I'm hardcore

#teamblackcoffee, having #condensedmilk in it takes me back to the innocence of childhood kopitiam runs, or to the catharsis of colleague/company bitching sessions with the likes of @dafnelately 😏 Granted, condensed #oatmilk is slightly different in flavour from what dairy would be, and I used straight-up ground coffee beans, rather than the local butter-roasted coffee from places like my grandfather's factory, but still, this was soothing for the soul ☺️

I don't know what planet they are living on when they declare this to be 8 servings' worth 🤨 I had a quantity probably closer to a twentieth, and it already made my coffee too sweet. Too sweet. For *me* and my #sweettooth 😬 #ditchdairy 💪

Hubby bought Nature’s Charm Sweetened Condensed Oat Milk from Amazon at S$5.37/tin.

It definitely costs a

lot more than the non-vegan MilkMaid at S$1.90. Though it costs almost 3 times more, I am so thankful for this vegan condensed oat milk.

Finally, we can have condensed milk! It takes so long for the vegan version to appear in the market. Better later than never! 🥳

Nature’s Charm Sweetened Condensed Oat Milk is very sweet and my hubby enjoys it with his coffee ☕️ This is what he said, “The sweeter, the better!”

As you take a look at the 3rd photo, you can see the nutrition facts. 8 teaspoons of condensed oat milk adds up to 42% of an adult daily requirement of sugar. I use two teaspoons for my cup of coffee, just that alone already contributed about 10% of my sugar limit.

If you like your drink to be sweeter and add more teaspoons or drink more than a cup of coffee a day, you can easily reach your daily limit of sugar. Not to mention about the added sugars in the meals and desserts you eat during the day.

I am thankful that sugar is not the first ingredient. Oat milk is the first ingredient, whereas cane sugar is the second ingredient. Otherwise, it will be so much faster to hit the sugar limit.

I like the thoughtfulness put into the design by having a pull tab. (See the 6th photo)😊 This is better than using a can opener and makes it so much easier to open.

It is a good practice to empty oat milk from the tin into a closed container 👍🏻 to prevent tiny ants 🐜 coming for the sugar. Keep the oat milk in the fridge to maintain its freshness. It is stated in the 2nd photo to finish it in 5 days, I don’t think I can finish it within 5 days!

Look at the last photo to see how I transfer the oat milk from the tin into a glass container. I let gravity to do its job in the safe environment of the fridge. This way I don’t have to worry about ants 🐜 drowning in oat milk, in a way, protecting their lives too.

Before discarding the emptied tin, you can add some water to stir out the thin layer of condensed oat milk that still remains. Nothing is wasted. 😁

Thank you so much for reading ❤️ I wish you a blessed day everyday of your life and may you be filled with sweetness all day long 💖
