Nafsika’s Garden never disappoints. My favorite of the 3 i’ve tried so far (mozzarella and
provolone - but they still are amazing). I recommend you let them sit at room temperature for a few minutes before eating. This way they become way more flavorful!
Of all the vegan cheeses I've tried, Nafsika's are the only I like and their
Smoked Gouda is the best! Subtle smoky flavour, very cheesy-tasting. Melts ok on bread in a toaster oven, but not really to make a grilled cheese in a pan. The only thing that bothers me (and it seems to be the same with all vegan cheeses) is the utter lack of nutrition... It's basically fat and salt. So I eat it for taste only. It's lovely on top of Just Egg on a bagelwich, toasted, with a small salad and a V8!
Really good! Not a very strong smoked flavour but it's a nice firm solid block
of cheese. Melted great in a sandwich. It was $4.97 at Walmart for 200g container. It's stocked in the dairy cheese area!
This is one of my favorite sliced vegan cheeses. It is cheaper than Chao and
melts beautifully in grilled cheese sandwiches. Would recommend to anyone looking for a lightly smoky cheese.
