Thank you Everyday vegan (EV) for bringing in a Deodorant we love. EV, you rock
for having affordable products that work so well for us two on the constant go vegans. Finally, after a lifetime of deodorants with all sorts of suspect, dubious and dodgy ingredients that have a list of chemicals a kilometre long, My Shea Lemon Myrtle deodorant finally enters our lives with its 8 natural ingredients, three of which are organic. It's truly a breath of fresh air which brings me to My Shea's scent. Wonderfully refreshing are its combined essential oils of lemon myrtle, lemongrass and orange. Natural and invigorating, it is pleasant but not in your face.
From my hubby Paul, "It seems to work very well even for a sweaty Caucasian in the humidity of Singapore." I, Jess agree. "I have walked all day with it on and although I haven't yet put it to the sniff test, normally with other deodorants at the end of the day, i go "yeeewch i smell horrid!" However with My Shea, I didn't even notice nor did I exclaim the above so that is an AWESOME sign :D"
Update. I have now put it to a sniff test after walking around in the sun and assisting in a special needs school as a volunteer for 4 hours and I do not reek! :) it is fabulous!
Both Paul and I feel that a little bit goes a very long way. Indeed, 2 tiny dabs are all we need from this very full tin of deodorant which we are both sharing. We also love how it is non-greasy and does not stain the armpit areas of our shirts which is ideal for work.
And in conclusion, we both think it's a truly exceptional product, and the deodorant we've been waiting for.
