#vegandishsoap #biodegradable #noartificialcolors The owner of a cottage in The Hamptons that my sister rented from offered his guests this dish soap to use. If I’m not mistaken, he offered the same dish soap last year as well. This impressed me very much. I thought this dish soap worked just as well as the larger name brands. It cut through grease easily and its cleaning ability lasted (i.e. I wasn’t using a lot of soap every time I washed dishes). The bottle is made with at least 30% post-consumer plastic. Although 30% is better than 0%, I expected more from a company that offers a vegan and environmentally friendly product. This soap is made without parabens, phthalates (a toxic group of chemicals), MEA and DEA (a family of chemicals that work as surfactants and emulsifying ingredients in personal care and cleaning products; they are made through a chemical reaction of ethylene oxide with ammonia) and artificial colours. But the soap is made with plant-derived cleaning ingredients, essential oils and aloe vera extract. If this product is available in Toronto, Canada, I’d get it.
