🌱 I love that this brand has decided to transform an unhealthy #breakfast staple into
a healthy one. MILZU! uses Latvian-grown rye, oats and wheat to create twelve cereal varieties, all developed in collaboration with nutrition experts from the Latvia University of Agriculture. 🎓All their products are organic, but unfortunately, not all are vegan due to the use of honey. ☹️
When I decided to try these new rye breakfast rings, my partner, who is not known for his nutrition expertise🤷🏻♀️, shamed me in the store, saying it would taste like cardboard, and I'd regret buying it. But how wrong he was! 😝As soon as I tried a spoonful, I was smitten. 🫶🏽It has a nutty flavour from the rye 🌾and a hint of sweetness from the cocoa. My partner was so accustomed to the highly processed, sugar-laden cereals that he couldn't appreciate the natural goodness of this cereal.
🙌🏽Made with cocoa powder and 100% #natural ingredients, this cereal is a great source of #fibre, #vitamins B and E and #minerals like iron, phosphorus, zinc, magnesium and potassium.
I purchased a 200gx2 pack from Maxima for €3.52 at a 30% discount, which I thought was reasonable for such a high-quality product.
☝🏽While this brand isn't 100% vegan, it's still a far cry from heavily processed, multinational cereal brands that dominate the market. By opting for vegan products from MILZU!, I feel like I'm making a conscious and positive choice for my #health and the #environment. It's a small but significant step. 💚
