This raclette cheese takes some time to actually get that melted consistency. I had to
swirl it a couple of times to actually get it melted. It was good, had a nice taste.

I didn’t like this product 😬 It should used for the raclette but I wanted
to prepare Pizzoccheri and this was the only cheese I had at home. I think it doesn’t have a strong taste and it didn’t melt properly. #veganisnotscary

As I tried the vegan alternative to fondue cheese I was a little scared to
try this fake Raclette cheese I had at home because a lovely person thought of me when she saw it. In the end, as the expiring date was coming nearer, I really had to use it because I surely did not want to throw it away. But I'm glad I didn't make eat it as a Raclette cheese, for if the taste is really good, the consistency when this Melty is melted it's bizarre, it because similar to slime and I'm still not sure I would like a whole slice, even if it would be on top of a potato. Instead, I made little cubes, which was really easy given also that the slices were already cut, and used it as an alternative cheese for one of the plates I love to eat in winter time: pasta al radicchio. In that combination, this cheese alternative was GREAT as it created also a little sauce which wouldn't be there with dairy products. I'll definitely buy it again and try it on other recipes and who knows, maybe one day I'll be brave enough to try it as Raclette :)

I use to love Raclette cheese when I was a vegetarian so imagine my face
when I discovered I was going to be able to try it again as a vegan during my brief trip to Switzerland. Now, I got to use my mini Raclette machine and the cheese melted perfectly but there is this ‘standard vegan cheese taste’ which kind of ruined the vibe, it should have been more powerful!!! 🙁
The price is insane: more that 6 CHF for 6 pieces…
