A rare find these days. These burgers are well put together and need a little bit of extra oil to be enjoyed.

I've tried these once before so thought I'd give them a try. R45 per 4 in a box, checkers special R99 for 3 boxes. On paper they're amazing and all great ingredients and flavours,being a great soya alternative. The taste though, is not too great. I think it needs more flavour and they're kinda dry, perhaps because of the chick peas. I got two other flavours to try so let's see.
Not a big fan of this product as a whole. The texture seems to be completely off. If you have frozen the patties it's almost completely impossible to separate them at a later stage without compromising the texture of the other patties. I also feel like they may have been a tad bit heavy handed with the liquid smoke taste. Probably wouldn't buy this product again.
Love the idea of all the different themes of burgers , the basting was nice but I was disappointed at the texture and how the burger fell apart needs a bit of tweaking
Nice to see a healthy burger option! I also like getting 4 in a pack - good value. Quite a chewy soft texture and pretty dense. Taste wise you can definitely detect the chilli! Enjoyed it on a roll with pickle, tomato and the Checkers Simple Truth BBQ sauce (my favorite!). I'll definitely buy it again. Keen to try the different flavors. #veganisnotscary
