I fondly remember Saturday and Sunday mornings at my grandparents house as a kid... my

grandmother would wake up early and go to the bagel shop so that when my brother and I woke up, we would have fresh bagels (nothing beats a freshly baked NY bagel). I had a couple favorite flavors, but my favorite way to eat an everything bagel was schmeared with cream cheese and covered in Bacos. Bacos are no longer in existence, but these taste and look identical and best of all, they are accidentally vegan! Thanks to these and vegan cream cheese, I can still enjoy a childhood breakfast favorite. #abillionlove

flavour. It goes well in western food like pasta and vegan quiche. Fried and unhealthy though. #veganjunkfood

I knew that Bacos were vegetarian but I haven’t seen them in years (or really

thought of them either). Was watching a vegan cooking video recently and they used this brand and it got me craving “bacon” bits!

These crunchy, smoky and savory bits are so satisfying. They are basically flavored and baked/dried pieces of TVP. They add a nice crunchiness to salads and I bet they’d also be nice added to the top of Mac n cheese or a loaded potato.

Healthy? Perhaps not but they are a fun and tasty add on that’s not going to break the bank. If you’re sensitive to liquid smoke flavor or don’t like bacon, then skip it - otherwise I think you’d enjoy them.
