Hazelnut and Sea Salt Vegan Chocolate

I don’t usually buy from M&S but this was a gift. It’s a thin bar with a lot of crunchy bits. Its got a noticeable amount of salt. It’s more of a milky chocolate - it tastes a bit like Vego but not quite as rich. I’ve found it hard to enjoy on days where I’ve also eaten quality dark chocolate, as this is so light in cacao, and sweet, in comparison. But on days where I haven’t or I’m paying less attention I’ve enjoyed that lightness. No plastic packaging! Just foil inside. I wouldn’t buy it again as I’ve found the other #gianduia bars I’ve tried are a bit tastier.

Delicious 😋 At only 42% this was never in any great jeopardy of being too intense. On the contrary it was creamy and mellow and so very #sweettooth friendly 😊 Exactly how #chocolate should be; #teammylkchocolate 💪 The #hazelnut and #seasalt added a bit of variety and fun to the product, but were ultimately still a sideshow. #plasticfree as most good chocolates should be these days, but yes this did clock up loads of #airmiles 😬 IIRC this is from my last London trip (October last year) and is two weeks from expiry. I know how to rectify the problem though, and it starts with another 13-hour flight next weekend 😁

It was so good I finished the bar over two sittings. Hazelnuts were crushed into small bits, mixed with sea salt.

The usual top-notch Marks & Spencer quality, with a smooth and rich #praline flavour with the hazelnut bits adding a crunchy textural contrast. I like that the #seasalt taste is strong, providing a surprising and invigorating pop of flavour. Quite #affordable and worth it for $5+. #veganisnotscary #veganchocolate

It was nice, the packaging sure is pretty, but it wasn’t very memorable for me. It’s only looking at the photos now that I’m remembering it was sea salt flavour— that part of the flavour did not leave a strong impression. I also would have preferred chunkier bits of hazelnuts it there to make it a bit more satisfying. Overall i preferred co-op’s own chocolate of this style.
