Sometimes I crave a crusty baguette……a vegan brioche… an olive or everything loaf…a chewy, sugary
white bread, but sometimes I’m just looking for a vehicle to put food on that tastes good!
I’m certainly not keto- quite the opposite — but I like the “Keto friendly” bread products from ALDI as they aren’t filled with added sugars and have a decent amount of protein. I’m not afraid of sugar and I absolutely don’t limit it with treats but I don’t necessarily need it in my avocado toast or BLT, ya know?
This week ALDI was out of keto buns so I decided to give these bagels a try. I’m sure that, compared to a NYC bagel they’re pretty bad but as someone who never lived on the east coast I’m fine with that!
These are soft and a pretty tasty vehicle!
