plant-based chicken breasts

I’m a huge fan of the Lightlife breaded fillets so I was curious how I would like this plain version. It is fairly unseasoned, like the chicken strips, but has a nice base flavor. These could be pretty boring without a plan but if you have a sauce/seasonings/specific dish in mind, these are a good choice as you can season them as you wish. These were easy to season and cook up. I think from a practicality point, though, I’d probably opt for the strips instead of this option as they are basically the same product in a different shape and I’d just cut this one up for pasta or salad in any case. I’d buy this one at a discount again. If the prices were comparable, I’d opt for Daring original in place of this product as I’d use them for the same purpose and I prefer the texture of Daring. $1.99 at Grocery Outlet #mockmeat #veganchicken #lightlife

These are pretty bomb and I’d eat again cuz I wasn’t disappointed. I thought they’d be high in protein but they are not really. Enough protein though.

This wasn’t bad. I seared it in a pan then put bbq sauce on it. I wish I would have seared it a bit more though so there was more of a chew. I would have it again but wouldn’t go out of my way to get it.

I don’t crave chicken meat, I was just curious about this new product (maybe just new to me). I very much liked the taste and texture. I made it on pan with lemon marinade. It was a great lunch, this would be excellent for grilling. What I don’t like is the amount of the plastic packaging.
