I have been all over the world. Lived in shanghai for 3 years. But I found this back in Canada 🇨🇦 after that (kindof weird). It is a marvelous chili oil. Unique in that it has the “numbing” xichuan pepper in it

This is the chilli crisp I usually buy when I'm lazy to make it myself. It is medium spicy, has a ton of crunchy chilli and soybean bits, and is very umami from the msg. It also leaves a tingly/slightly numbing aftertaste on your tongue from the Chinese prickly ash which I think is the same as or similar to Sichuan peppercorn. There are other brands I like, but this is the cheapest and it is the OG of chilli crisps i think. I don't buy this often though because i'm still a bit weary of msg, and when i have it in my fridge, I want to put it on literally EVERYTHING I eat! Even a whiff of the bottle smells freaking amazing.
Spicy and adds a great texture. This was great in rice, and I am looking forward to trying it in noodles. #chili #condiments
Fantastica salsine che dà gusto ovunque venga aggiunta!
Y’all probably heard of the old Godmother #chillisauce as they call it 😉 My God… I don’t know if it’s me or are these sinfully addictive? Godmother indeed… 😜❤️🔥 There’s no doubt the best thing about it is what makes it iconic, the crunchy fermented beans 🤪 It’s so full and umami. It’s not particularly #spicy though but I don’t need that much heat when I’ve got this much flavour. It’s got that deep dark saltiness like Marmite or Vegemite. Perfect for my #lazyvegan moments like when I just straight up used it to top my grilled chives. I was also excited to try this online recipe involving an instant noodle integration with cucumbers and spam. Just all my expectations perfectly met 😋 It was just so #highlyaddictive that I was compelled to finally try this food trend from China. Apparently, they’re putting chilli oil on… ice-cream 🤯 What’s crazier? It’s delicious. Just perfect salty sweet. The heat and cool weirdly worked 😝 I really would love for everyone to try this and let me know. Seriously. Am I nuts? Is it just my Asian palate? Is it the chilli oil? 🤔 It’s around RM 8-9? This is exceptionally popular for good reason. I have no complaints. If you haven’t tried it already, do it 😳😄
