This product is not a very nutritious product, but as a lover of Korean food I always pick some chilli oil up at the grocery store! I would recommend this product as it is relatively cheap compared to other brands and tastes really good!
Don’t be intimidated by the bright red color — this chili oil is very mild. I often mix it into a dipping sauce for dumplings or spoon some on top of noodles. I turn to it more for the savoriness, texture, and aroma of dried chili it adds, since the heat level is pretty negligible. LGM is a beloved classic and the recipes absolutely stand the test of time, although I question the need to include MSG and preservatives like sulfur dioxide and sodium sulfite.

This #accidentallyvegan chili oil sauce is awesome. It has crunchy bits in it plus peanuts too! Used it to make vegan dan dan mian finally with Chez Jorge's recipe! (Kudos to @sutris for the idea!) The noodles turned out great!! However my learning from using the recipe with this sauce is that you will need to halve the amount of soy sauce when making the spicy dan dan sauce because there's already MSG in this Laoganman chili in oil!
