Saved 83%pretty good in flavor but I didn't like the texture very much, it was like chewy. Still good for some dishes, maybe with rice or something.
It's from a vegan Costa Rican company, didn't take a pic of the package since it came in frozen in a plain plastic bag without labels.
vegan food brand I’ve reviewed before la Jama Vegana, it is one of my favorite items of their options. It’s a #soy based substitute of like pulled or shredded beef, but in a super delicious Caribbean sauce. It has so many rich and different spices to give it that Caribbean flavor that is so popular in #costarica. This is a versatile product, as you can eat it with rice, in sandwiches, in stews, soups, and it’s just so flavorful. The texture of the soy is very realistic and great.
It is a lot of product, and the bag (which I actually didn’t take a picture of) is good value, as it is only like $10 and you can make many meals out of it.
Overall delicious #meatsubstitute, I recommend it and I would buy it again.
