This is a huge amount of quality #oliveoil that should last me a long time. #costco I survived my first week of classes by reheating and eating from a massive batch of pesto-tossed pasta that I cooked last weekend (hello, meal prep!) Generally I think #oil-based dressings are best for these types of meals, as they won’t make the pasta as soggy as a sauce with higher water content. I used the food processor attachment of my immersion blender to purée farmer’s market basil, baby spinach, garlic, salt, and a generous pour of this #extravirginoliveoil into a vibrantly green pesto. It’s also a great pick for DIY salad dressings! I think it was about $23 for a big 2L bottle on my latest visit. It’s gone up a bit, but it still seems to be a good #value for this #pantrystaple.
