How awesome to be confronted with a wall of high quality vegan candies in REWE supermarket! Pretty shocking that it's still normal to feed children candies that contain slaughter waste. I live in Germany now and have had to adapt to a totally new grocery selection! 🇩🇪🥨🍺 This Katjes brand has stolen my heart as they offer a delicious selection of veggie gummies 😍 Muuuuuch better texture than Haribos selection of veggie gummies 🙌 (in my opinion) Haribos = waxy and tough Katjes = stretchy and gummy 😋 I found these today and had to post about them! (For only €0.99 🤯, much better price than the veggie gummies on offer in S.A.) Peace & Love✌️ ☮️ 🕊 - definitely a very original theme for sweeties 😄 as you can see by the pics, this theme has such cool little symbols! Flavour-wise: perfect combo of sweet and tart for me, and they all seem to have a different combo of flavours with the whole tie-dye effect they've got going 🧡💚🩷 (For the South Africans following me, I will be changing my username soon and probably will be posting mostly about German products now so totally understandable if you were to unfollow 💚)

This pack of #gummies has #strawberry, #pear, red currant, #peach and #cherry flavours. 🍬Each gummy has 3 flavours. They are shaped as doves, flowers, cars, eyes, yin-yang, #hippie dudes and #peace signs. Picking apart the different flavours was kinda difficult with this one as they are so mixed in each gummy. When eaten most of the them just give me mixed #fruit vibes. I don’t notice any of the red #currant, otherwise they taste as expected. Fruity and candy-like. I really enjoy the texture of the gummy #candy from Katjes, they’re a little dense and chewy without being sticky or too hard. These ones are ever so slightly softer than the other bags I have tried, but I think that’s just this bag being more fresh. The #candies are #palmoilfree, #glutenfree, #soyfree and #nutfree. The packaging is #recyclable and they are also #climateneutral. 💵~20 NOK at Normal! Great price, it’s a large bag too so you get a lot for your money.
