Not much whiskey taste (kinda expected that 😆). But otherwise tastes decent - obviously salty, somewhat smoky and crisp.
According to the packet, their BBQ chips have been ‘blended with authentic Jim Beam Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey’ Not sure what they mean by blended but the bourbon was so subtle, it mostly tasted like regular (but good) bbq chips to me. #veganisnotscary
This was a really good BBQ chip, as expected from Burts! Good balance of sweet, savoury, and smokey, without being too salty. Unfortunately, there was no whiskey / alcohol taste at all, even though the ingredients list includes dried Jim Beam powder?? Not sure if it's worth the markup above other regular BBQ chips in this case #veganisnotscary
