I was at my mum’s for a classic Sunday roast yesterday and for my veganised version she made this impeckable #veganchicken from The Vegetarian Butcher. It came out really well and worked nicely with the other elements of the roast. I enjoyed it very much

This wasn’t for me. It was too much like a real #veganchicken breast. I probably should have added a sauce or marinade though which I didn’t. Maybe I didn’t cook it correctly too. I love lots of their other products. #chicken Maybe you’d like this. 🥕Yuka: 🟠Poor 49/100
My favourite unbreaded chicken product so far 👍 really good flavour and texture, not too dry or soft. Air-fried for 10m, then roasted in gravy for 10m

Mmm! We just threw these in the oven for a quick dinner. My husband thought they would be bland but I found they were not. They had a really pleasant chickeny taste, but without being gross because, ya know, chicken. They crisped up around the edges so nicely, too. They were juicy and delicious. I would probably do something more with them next time but I found they really are good plain and just cooked on their own. Yum! #vegetarianbutcher #chicken #chickenbreast #meat #dinner
