The iconic Huy Fong Sriracha sauce which imo is better than actual SE Asian Sriracha.
Basically good on everything. Literally one of the best hot sauce out there!
There’s some debate on how vegan this is as sugar in North America is sometimes not vegan: (Surprise this Sriracha besides looking super Asian is actually American 🇺🇸!! ) but honestly if you define sugar as being a non-vegan ingredient - that’s a very very hard ingredient to avoid and it all comes down to how strict of a vegan you r.
I found this in an Asian supermarket very near the Chinatown in The Hague and I love how this is so much easier to find in The Netherlands compared to in Asia. Only seen it once in Singapore and never in Indonesia.
This would constitute as an #AccidentallyVegan Product and hence why there’s debate to how Vegan it actually is but to me it is as the issue comes down to sugar and not actual animal products of any kind. (I was vegetarian so I wasn’t so strict about this but this is how I define veganism - as the probability of having animal products of any kind being very low)
