The patties were dense and tasted like real crab meat. 1 patty is definitely enough to keep you feeling full.

I am still spoiled by the Whole Foods crab cakes in the deli section of the store … however they no longer carry them in the store I shop. I was told the only way to get them is order them through catering… So I am on a quest for the best crab cakes.. these are close… they are good … they do have a lot of breading .. I made a crab cake sandwich with homemade tarter sauce .. and it hit the spot …
I bought this on sale at the supermarket and it was a great buy. Each packet contains two patties and it is conveniently resealable. I don’t know how the brand makes it but the patties really taste like real crab meat. They are laden with fragrant spices and lots of refreshing lemon zest. Although, the flavour department needs a tad bit of seasoning with salt when cooking. They are delicious when pan-fried and drizzled with your favourite dressings; as burger patties or ‘crab-meat cutlets’ paired with noodles or rice.
Plant-Based Crab Cakes work well in salads, sandwiches and as an appetizer.
