These chicken strips are made mostly with TVP and as usual, I tend to ignore the preparation instructions, cooking them in a dry nonstick pan. The texture is sort of mushy but I ate them atop a faux Caesar salad and each bite was fine. I cooked this first batch with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Next time I'll use Frank's Buffalo Sauce. Yum.
I enjoyed these plant based grilled “chicken” strips in a Chick’n and Black Bean Quesadilla. The strips need to be seasoned, as they are plain by themselves, but the texture is decent. I look forward to trying them in other recipes. #veganin2022 #veganchicken
