Omggggg roll on the childhood memories. Absolutely fabulous they have released a vegan version of

Horlicks

This Horlicks ticks all the boxes for me. Hot, malty goodness in a cup. Tastes

like the OG version. Bit of a splurge buy, but well worth it if you're craving this drink.

I never knew about Horlicks. But I saw an advert somewhere saying they had the

vegan version of their drink. I love drinking barley and other cereals instead of coffee, so I thought this was pretty much the same thing as barley or Ovaltine. When I made it, it tasted really good! Sweet, but not that type of disgusting sweet. A fair amount of sweetness, I’d say.

Thing is:

- it came for £3, which is not cheap
- When I read the ingredients I didn’t notice the presence of sugar and palm oil. I mean, why palm oil? Non sustainable, of course. Why does something like this have to contain oil, anyway? Meh 🤷🏻‍♀️

On the other hand, I like it’s fortified with a handful of vitamins, B12 included.

It’s a nice drink but I won’t buy it again, sorry 😅

Oh my giddy aunt. I have been dying for a vegan version on horlicks for

years. Tastes just like I remembered. A tad on the expensive side, so I have one a week as a treat Haha
