This is NOT borerewors and this is not meat but rather a plant based alternative. as clearly labelled on the packaging. I knew what it what’s before buying and was not confused as to what this is. A superb plant based version of boerewors 👌💚

These are fairly affordable and taste just like boerewors. Also super high in protein!

The first time I made these I just stuck them in a pan and fried them. I wasnt impressed. I read the cooking instructions today and it says to steam for 5 mins prior to cooking. Let me tell you! What a difference. Texture & taste was phenomenal! Definatley one of the best meat alternatives I have eaten! Would just be nice if they could package their products in more sustainable & environmentally friendly materials.

I didn't like the flavor of this boerewors. It's very dry and not spiced enough. However, with some sauce it's not too bad and the protein quantity makes up for a lot of it. I really like this small company, it may just be that I'm not big into seitan. #veganin2020
