I had to know if you could replicate the flavor of Cola by mixing mushrooms;
I mean that's pretty amazing. The 3rd kingdom offers a pallet of fungi that can paint every flavor. I opened it and took a whiff, it was reminiscent of cola, so I tasted it. It could pass as a cola, although not a brand that I’ve had. From fizz to flavor it was accurate-ish. Then the back flavor kicks in and it's a bit like licorice NyQuil. Is that a bad thing? I haven’t decided. No snap judgments. Mushrooms, have unique flavors that creep up on you, they’re a good way to stretch your pallet, discover, and hopefully like new things. How I feel about this drink in a week will be a better indicator as to whether or not I like it. So while the aftertaste was a bit off-putting, I tilted my head slightly and took another sip. ☯️🌱🐙
