Organic three colour quinoa ! This from Lidl . The three colours make an interesting change and a colourful one too . Gluten free and full of protein it’s an excellent ,nutritious food . I’m cooking for a friend with SIBO so have been looking up what to avoid and what is good . Quinoa is a staple for anyone with this condition apparently. I have heard people giving up on a plant based diet if they have SIBO because of the bad effect pulses , beans and some vegetables have on their health. The problem with this is you can stop feeding the good bacteria. So you can be vegan and have SIBO but you need to manage your diet well and quinoa can be very helpful.
