Although DongZhi (winter solstice) is over, it doesnt affect my mood to eat Tang Yuan (Glutinous Rice Ball). Chinatown Glutinous Rice Ball is the brand I always stick to every year because the texture is just right. It also has a lof of filling inside and the quantity inside one packet is just enough for one whole family.

Yummy dessert that's simple to make, for simple soup base I use those ginger brown sugar cubes and added more ginger powder. Follow the cooking instructions and you'll enjoy them in 20 minutes. I boiled it for quite a while so it fluffed up by 50% in size. Keeps alright in the fridge for one or two days (it'll harden and won't be "fluffy").
