If you’re looking for a healthy alternative to rice, then this could be an option

for you. In my house, this is the grain of choice, foxtail millet.

There are numerous health benefits that come along with millet, from what I know. It’s high in Vitamin B12, and contains higher levels of fiber than other grains like rice for example.

It’s somewhat similar to quinoa, but its a lot finer, almost like sand. The preparation of it is pretty much the same as the preparation for rice, and I choose to eat it like i would with rice, with other dishes to complement it.

We got this packet from little India, which is where we always go to buy it, and I’m not actually sure if they have it other supermarkets like FairPrice or Cold Storage, if anyone knows about this do let me know!
