I am on a mission to find a burger I like as much as Sol Cuisine Extreme and this is not the one. I am not fond of really thick patties and this is twice as thick as the Sol Cuisine. The taste was neither meaty or veggie (i.e. like beans or garden veg). It had ample protein and a good amount of vitamins and minerals but I could not finish my burger even with lettuce, tomato and condiments. I did read other reviews so I think I might be in the minority with my review of this burger but I will not be buying it again. Still searching for a new burger since I can no longer find Sol Cuisine Extreme Grillers.

#veganburger #plantbasedburger #gardein #nongmocertified #kosher #veganisnotscary These Gardein Supreme (plant-based) Burgers were another fantastic find at Grocery Outlet a couple months ago. For $24.99, the case contained 40 burgers (~$0.62 each). As a comparison, a pack of 2 Supreme Burgers sells for $6.27 ($3.135 each). If I had more room in my freezer, I would’ve purchased two cases. But I’m quite happy with the one. I have not found one Gardein product that I didn’t like, and these burgers do not disappoint. They’re thick, unlike some burgers, and meaty. They’re quite delicious. My only taste-related complaint is that they are not juicy; they’re a bit dry. But condiments and other things added to the burger take care of this minor shortcoming. These burgers are probably comparable to meat hamburgers, in terms of calories, fat and sodium. But I’m quite impressed with the list of nutrients in each burger and their respective quantities. Most people don’t get enough vitamin B12 regardless of their diet, but each burger contains 71% of their day’s required vitamin B12. These burgers will happily keep me occupied for quite some time. Hopefully Grocery Outlet will have these on sale again when I have more room in my freezer.
