These veggie burgers have some mixed reviews, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but for what it’s worth, I really enjoyed them! I love brown rice, and that’s essentially what they are, plus assorted vegetables and soy for binding. The seasoning is simple — there’s a very mild herby note that’s somehow reminiscent of risotto(?); it would certainly benefit from the addition of your favorite condiments. My patty cooked nicely in the oven (it did release a surprising amount of grease, but that was easy enough to blot away,) and it held together well. I’ll definitely get them again, especially if my Grocery Outlet continues to carry them at $2.50 for a bag of 4.
