I am trying these for the 2nd time and I love them. Just really wish

they could've made it gluten free.
It's nothing like the Beyond Burger but it's yummy in it's own way.
I think that was Fry's idea when they decided to launch this burger to release a competitor for the Beyond Burger.
It's on promotion at PnP if you like it. So run out and go and buy some.

Really like this burger patty! Super easy to make, can cook it on a frying

pan or a braai! This is definitely my favorite Fry’s patty. Highly recommend as an alternative to the beyond burger patty.

Highly recommend (if you can find them)! At R60 for 2, much more affordable than

the Beyond Meat patties. The texture and taste is very meat-like and good nutritional value. #greyton

If you’re in some far flung dorpie and the local supermarket has these in the

freezer cabinet, then great. Taste is ok and they’re decently priced. But compared to many other brands producing similar patties, it doesn’t really cut it. Their chicken products are good but they really have to up their game with the burger patties in my opinion.

So Fry's is marketing this as their answer to the Beyond burger, and to that

I say: you need to try harder than this. Is it better than other Fry's burgers? Certainly. Is it worth R30 a patty? No. It's as good as Linda McCartney's, which is much cheaper. It's like they found an excuse to make their products even more expensive. Enjoyable, but just not worth the money or hype.
