bean salsa roja walking tamales

i was way too optimistic when trying these Fillo’s Walking Tamales because i like the concept, but coming out of the package the taste and texture of this Bean Salsa Roja one isn’t something i’m into. 🌽

Another protein and carb packed snack! These are a nice product to have on hand when you need a savory boost. They are reasonably priced whilst on sale. I do prefer the salsa verde flavor but those who have the cilantro soapy gene should opt for this one! Not a substitute for an authentic tamale but a good snack with simple ingredients. #salsaroja #tamales s

This tamale is delicious over the stop with some vegan cheese overtop it. I especially appreciate the spicy latin flavor. #salsaroja

I was expecting something different.. I’m not sure what .. but this does have a good flavor.. I would definitely pick this up for a meal if I was on the road and didn’t have time to stop for a sit down or drive thru. #nongmocertified #medium

This was a great quick snack, and wasn’t nearly as spicy as the hot habanero one. I topped it with avocado & salsa which was good but it also would be good plain on its own. I would definitely get these again if they’re on sale for $2 again. Excited to try their other flavors!
