Past experience has taught me an abiding distrust of vegan cheeses, but what can you do when that grilled cheese craving strikes? The first thing I noticed about these slices was their vibrant, almost violently orange color. Despite what the appearance would suggest, the peppery kick is pretty mild. It melts well, and the texture isn’t as gluey as I expected, though I didn’t like it as much cold. I will absolutely get these again, and I might also have to reevaluate my stance on cheese — thank you, Chao!
