Was super exited when I saw this amongst the other pre-made breakfast wraps at
the store, because it was really unexpected. Unfortunately though, the sandwich was just not the best. The âeggsâ in it were the only good part about it (Iâm pretty sure they used JUST egg), however the mix of egg and pesto together is just not my favourite. Thatâs pretty much all there was to the sandwich along with unmelted pieces of vegan cheese in the middle and raw spinach leaves in the middle as well. The bread appeared to be, as well as tasted like regular store bought preservative filled tortilla bread. I wouldnât suggest you buy this, unless youâre really short on time and want something thatâs warm and slightly more filling than say a granola bar or something... But other than that, I would try my best to avoid it. Not to mention it was $5 which is not cheap for a less than average tasting sandwichâŚ
That being said, I appreciate the fact that they have an option for vegans, because I rarely ever find pre made/ store made things like this at the store. But itâs just a shame that it wasnât goodâŚ
Something else I want to mention is that Farm Boy has this thing where they donât always sell the same products everyday (their store made products). Some days/months they have something and other times they donât⌠It seemed as though they had only made ONE vegan wrap on this morning, and yet slightly to the right there were approximately 15-20 âmeat loversâ wraps nearby.đ All that to say, this store can be really unreliable.
