maybe i am just not used to buying extra firm tofu instead of super firm (are extra and super actually THAT different??) but i found this tofu to be not that firm. i could see it being good for tofu scramble and sandwiches, maybe even the air fryer, but i’d honestly be a little scared to cube it and stir fry it! the taste is just normal tofu taste, fairly plain with a tendency to soak up whatever sauce it is marinated in, but the texture isn’t my favorite. i feel like it would not hold its shape very well if pushed around too much. that being said, it’s definitely still functional, and i was able to get the block for $1.69 so i’m definitely going to purchase it again. good price, good taste, great value, ok texture!

I loved the Sprouts Extra Firm Tofu in this meal!! I marinated it in teriyaki sauce before cooking it - it gave me crispy, caramelized edges! Perfect with some broccoli, mushrooms, Just Egg, and a bed of jasmine rice 😸 #abillionxkinder Does anyone else feel like no matter which tofu they buy, it wasn’t firm enough? All help welcome . . .
